When it comes to buying new windows, style isn’t the only thing that you should be paying attention to.  Obviously, deciding on between double-hung, French, awning or casement windows is an important decision, and will have a huge impact on the overall look of your home or other building.

As with any wood products that are exposed to the elements, wood framed windows will need to be re-finished periodically.  The frequency will depend on the quality of the initial finishing as well as the climate, precipitation and the amount of sunlight the windows are exposed to.
